Founded in 1998 by a group of physicians working in emergency medicine, IEM’s mission is to promote education, standardize procedures, implement international standards in emergency medicine and first aid.
UMC is a network of Polish and Ukrainian NGOs that provides medical and humanitarian aid to Ukraine. After Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, NGO representatives and medical professionals came together to coordinate aid requests and bring together international organizations with Ukranian officials.
