The Asia America Initiative was founded by americans wishing to fight poverty in the Philippines. They campaign for values such as security, peace and respect to lead to a necessary dignified life. The AAI wants to give people hope, and support local groups who are in danger of armed conflicts and extreme poverty.
The ghanan charity Breast Care international takes it upon themselves to spread the word about breast cancer with as many women as possible, throughout Ghana. Achieving this through raising awareness about the risks of cancer for women and campaigning for early detection and prompt treatments.
Orden de Malta
On a mission to help the sick and the needy. Following its historic mission to help the sick, the needy and the most disadvantaged in society, the Order of Malta continues its work today, operating in more than 120 countries. Its programmes include medical and social assistance, disaster relief in the case of armed conflicts and natural catastrophes, emergency services and first aid corps, help for the elderly, the handicapped and children in need and the provision of first aid training, and support for refugees and internally displaced persons regardless of race, origin or religion.
ANF was born as an initiative of its founders – Alfredo Pellas Jr., Theresa Pellas, and Father León Pallais– to contribute to mitigate the effects of poverty in Nicaragua. It's institutional mission is to acquire directly or through strategic partners the necessary resources to contribute substantially and sustainably to reduce the impact of poverty in the lives of the most vulnerable population in Nicaragua; providing these non-profitable resources to their beneficiaries, in an efficient, effective and transparent manner, with the assistance of a network of local partners.
