Institute for Emergency Medicine (IEM)

Founded in 1998 by a group of physicians working in emergency medicine, IEM’s mission is to promote education, standardize procedures, implement international standards in emergency medicine and first aid. By offering certified courses to medical staff, IEM strives to improve and standardize emergency medicine services across Poland. Since February 2022 IEM has focused primarily on helping people in Ukraine receive medical equipment and pharmaceuticals. So far they have donated supplies worth over USD 1.5 million. Their network, expertise, warehouse, and proximity to Ukraine make them a valuable partner for Krebsallianz to help aid cancer patients in Ukraine.

Family Christmas Trip to Chitwan

Every year the DVG takes a group of children living with cancer and their families to Chitwan for a short Christmas holiday break. Samir, the director of DVG believes it is essential to provide the children living with cancer and their families an opportunity to relax and reduce stress.

World Cancer Day 2019

Each year the UICC marks World Cancer Day on February 4th with a global awareness raising campaign. They highlight key issues, facts and publish preventative measures on cancer control around the world.
